STOP THE CLEAR APP

We have some exciting news! Our first petition has been submitted to Moog's Coronavirus Global Response Team. See below for what was sent to all members of the GRT from our No Mandate team, along with copies of the physical and online signatures! Great job with so many employees signing, as we are now over 4500 signatures! Keep spreading the word, it is not too late to sign the online petition; let’s get over 1,000 US employees to force a change.

Moog Global Response Team:

As Moog employees, we are firm believers in the culture and values which have made this company one of the best places to work in WNY and the world.

It is due to this strong belief in our values such as “trust is a must,” “your personal life is important,” and “we are all in this together,” that we request all plans to enforce a health pass for retaining employment be suspended.

Based on the details that have already been presented to the employee base, and information that is easily accessible through CLEAR’s website, a large portion of Moog’s employee base believes that enforcing the use of this or any other biometric health pass to confirm identity and track data is an unnecessary breach of individual privacy rights. Furthermore, as the contractual FAR clause does not require the use of a third party or any kind of health pass to verify vaccination status or track testing, we believe this is reaching far beyond what the government contracts require. On the contrary, the FAR clause allows for flexibility for businesses to use whichever method is best for their company and employees.

In place of this CLEAR app, we request the following:

• That any vaccination or testing status remain on a trust-is-a-must basis, not requiring additional personal information to be shared with a third party, and remain as the existing health attestations have been handled at Moog throughout the pandemic: via badge access and EDA attestation
• That any control over admission to facilities be controlled by badge access and not a third-party facial ID scanning application or passport
•  That any decisions regarding who can and cannot work at Moog be controlled by internal Moog leadership only
